Let's Explore the Earth!

Google Earth is an amazing software which is easy to download, and beast of all, FREE! It allows you to fly anywhere on earth and explore without leaving your home or office. A variety of images can be viewed. These include satellite images, maps, terrain and 3D buildings and physical landscapes. This software can be used for a variety of academic purposes as well as for simple enjoyment. It breaks barriers and limitations globally by providing access to the rest of the world with just the use of the internet.

Google Earth 5 allows you to view the following:

Historical Imagery- You will be able to view images recorded over the decades and see how any particular location changed over time.

The Ocean- It is now possible to explore beneath the surface of the ocean and go beyond depths explored in the past. New discoveries are waiting to be made!

Mars- View images and explore via a simulated 3D interactive tour of this planet.

The Moon- Historic images can be accessed here, from the natural terrain to the footprints made by astronauts.
